It is time to catchup...
It is very common in industry to create sketches for required project to speed things up and rely on
production staff to come up with production methods, component location, and assembly hardware
used. After successful completion of the project most likely were will be no documentation of what was
used and how things were made. This leads to embarrassing moments when client calls back with
questions and we have nothing to go by without relying in memory of production workers on how project
was completed. Or if you need to produce additional quantities for the same client and the product is
not the same as the first batch.
We can step in and document your project before it is shipped and verify details with production
workers to make sure that all basis are covered.
Don’t lose it...
Nearly all small to medium size manufacturing companies have number of tools, dies, fixtures,
racks, or other production aids that were made on as needed basis by production workers to satisfy
production needs.
Majority of those tools were never documented, so when the tool fails production struggles to find
suitable substitute to continue with production.
All this could be prevented if the replacement is scheduled in and the set of drawings is ready for
quotations or exact reproduction of the required tool.

Sometimes changes need to be made to already made or purchased equipment to meet o production
needs. It may be anything from tool holder adapter to electrical wiring or hydraulic and pneumatic
systems. This type of changes may lead to expensive errors during routine repair or maintenance, but
most of all it will jeopardize safety of external service staff.
